Groupe F will be performing tonight and tomorrow night in the Park Villette. What is Groupe F? They specialise in huge firework / pyrotechnic shows. This should be great to watch, and it is free. I hope the weather remains nice.

September 14, 15, and 16 at the Park de la Villette at nightfall, Philippe Decouflé will be showcasing the collection of costumes from the Opéra de Paris and the Comédie Française. Philippe Decouflé is a famous choreographer known for his work for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1992 Winter Olympics.

Just looking up some flights for weekend trips out of Paris. Usually I book with Last Minute or Voyages SNCF. They seem to be good internet companies for buying plane tickets. Voyages SNCF also offers the possibility to buy train tickets. Airline taxes are a bit high at the moment, so perhaps its best to stay put and take advantage of the city.
