Number Five. In Paris there is a tradition each winter that the city lights up. Some of the most popular places to see the Christmas lights are Galleries Lafayette, Printemps, and their surrounding streets. This year there is a Christmas market on the Champs Elysee as well as one on Place Saint Sulpice.

Paris Hammams

Number Four. Paris has some great hammams and in winter its especially nice for warming up and relaxing. One original more modern hammams include the Cent Ciels where you can also have dinner, relax and enjoy the hammam. Another hammam that seems to be very good and is only for women is the Hammam Pacha which is in Saint Denis but now seems to have another location in Paris. For super luxury there is the Saint James and Albany Hotel which costs 120 Euros for non hotel guests. Here they have an indoor pool with their hammam.

Number Three. There are so many great plays and artists to see. Whether it be danse, theater, or music in winter its a great time to stay out of the cold and enjoy yourself indoors. Some good addresses are Theatre de la Ville, the recently opened once ancient funeral home le 104, the newly reopened Le Palace, and the Maison des Arts Creteil.
